"Ho sempre amato la musica natalizia e quando nel 2020 ho realizzato il disco 'Un magico Natale' sapevo che non sarebbe stato l'unico. Ed infatti eccone un altro! A differenza del primo 'Time for Christmas' è completamente in inglese. Oltre alle tre nuove canzoni che ho composto, ho inserito le versioni in inglese di 'White Christmas', 'Jingle bells' e 'Silent night' che nell'album precedente erano tradotte in italiano. E ho voluto dare a questo disco uno stile americano ed evocativo, che ricordasse le distese di neve. Tra le cover storiche ho incluso 'Last Christmas', celebre cover degli Wham, che non poteva certo mancare in questo nuovo tributo al Natale!"

I testi delle canzoni

1. WHITE CHRISTMAS

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
just like the ones I used to know
where the treetops glisten, and children listen
to hear sleigh bells in the snow...

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
with every Christmas card I write
may your days be merry and bright
and may all your Christmases be white...

2. JINGLE BELLS

Dashing through the snow in a one horse open sleigh
over the hills we go laughing all the way
Bells on Bobtails ring making spirits bright
what fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight...

Jingle bells, Jingle bells jingle all the way
oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the way
oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh...

A day or two ago I thought I'd take a ride
and soon, Ms Fanny Bright was seated by my side
The horse was lean and lank misfortune seemed his lot
he got into a drifted bank and then we got upsot...

Jingle bells, Jingle bells jingle all the way
oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the way
oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh...

3. TIME FOR CHRISTMAS

Now we’re standing here
another year has flown away
waiting for Christmas to arrive...
Just you and I so near
holding hands so tight
finally, we’re back within this light...

The time for Christmas
The time of love
together we can pray for a better place for us...
In every heart that’s beating fast
in every heart with hope to last
and now, it’s Christmas time again!

The snow is falling down
turning white the world around
just like a year ago...
Just you and I so near
holding hands so tight
finally, we’re back within this light...

The time for Christmas
The time for love
together we can pray for a better place for us...
In every heart that’s beating fast
in every heart with hope to last
and now, it’s Christmas time again!

In every heart that’s beating fast
in every heart with hope to last
and now, it’s Christmas time again!

4. IMAGINE

Imagine there's no heaven
it's easy if you try
no hell below us
above us only sky
imagine all the people
living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
it isn't hard to do
nothing to kill or die for
and no religion too
imagine all the people
living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
and the world will be as one...

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
no need for greed or hunger
a brotherhood of man
imagine all the people
sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
and the world will be as one...

You may say I'm a dreamer
and the world will be as one...

5. LAST CHRISTMAS

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
but the very next day, you gave it away
this year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special...
Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
but the very next day, you gave it away
this year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special...

Once bitten and twice shy
I keep my distance, but you still catch my eye
tell me, baby, do you recognise me?
Well, it's been a year, it doesn't surprise me
Happy Christmas! I wrapped it up and sent it
with a note saying, "I love you", I meant it
now I know what a fool I've been
but if you kissed me now, I know you'd fool me again

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
but the very next day, you gave it away
this year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special...
Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
but the very next day, you gave it away
this year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special...

A crowded room, friends with tired eyes
I'm hiding from you and your soul of ice
My God, I thought you were someone to rely on
Me? I guess I was a shoulder to cry on
a face on a lover with a fire in his heart
A man undercover, but you tore him apart
now I've found a real love, you'll never fool me again

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
but the very next day, you gave it away
this year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special...
Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
but the very next day, you gave it away
this year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special...

6. SILENT NIGHT

Silent night, holy night
all is calm, all is bright
round yon Virgin, Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
sleep in heavenly peace...

Silent night, holy night
shepherds quake at the sight
glories stream from heaven afar
heavenly hosts sing Halleluia
Christ the Savior is born
Christ the Savior is born...

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
radiant beams from Thy holy face
with the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth...
Silent night...

7. LITTLE DRUMMER BOY

Come, they told me, pa rum pum pum pum
a newborn King to see, pa rum pum pum pum
our finest gifts we bring, pa rum pum pum pum
to lay before the King, pa rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum.
wo to honour Him, pa rum pum pum pum
when we come...

Little baby, pa rum pum pum pum
I am a poor boy too, pa rum pum pum pum
I have no gift to bring, pa rum pum pum pum
that’s fit to give a King, pa rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum.
shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum
on my drum?

Mary nodded, pa rum pum pum pum
the ox and lamb kept time, pa rum pum pum pum
I played my drum for Him, pa rum pum pum pum
I played my best for Him, pa rum pum pum pum
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum.
then He smiled at me, pa rum pum pum pum,
me and my drum
me and my drum
me and my drum...

8. CHRISTMAS COMES AGAIN

If tomorrow never comes
and this day is the last one
maybe we'll forgive the pain
until the heart is born again...

If love falls apart
can we find another place?
In the cold December wind
how can we survive again?

On this night we believe in love
together we can pray forever...
in our hearts, Christmas comes again
every day as long as we are alive!

All the stars that we can see,
all the light that we can feel
inside every broken heart
they can wash away the tears...

Snow is falling gently now
on my window and the ground
all is white and all I ask
is a Christmas full of love

On this night we believe in love
together we can pray forever...
in our hearts, Christmas comes again
every day as long as we are alive!

Together we can pray forever...
in our hearts, Christmas comes again
every day as long as we are alive!
Every day as long as we are alive!
Christmas comes again... forever and ever...

9. THE CHRISTMAS SONG

Come with me, come with me,
sing the song of joy and peace!
Come with me and you will see
all the lights upon the trees!
Walk with me, walk with me,
take my hand, your heart is free!
Walk with me into the snow,
feel the warm and magic glow!

The Christmas song inside your soul...
Don't let it go!

Come with me, come with me,
sing the song of joy and peace!
Come with me and you will see
all the lights upon the trees!
Walk with me, walk with me,
take my hand, your heart is free!
Walk with me into the snow,
feel the warm and magic glow!

The Christmas song inside your soul...
Don't let it go!
The Christmas song inside your soul...
Don't let it go!
Don't let it go... The Christmas song!
It’s Christmas... oh yes! Merry Christmas!

10. O COME, ALL YE FAITHFUL

O come, all ye faithful
joyful and triumphant
o come ye, o come to Bethlehem!
Come, and behold Him
born the King of angels!
o come, let us adore Him
o come, let us adore Him
o come, let us adore Him
Christ, the Lord!
